Croydon resident runs rings around hospital to raise funds for NHS charity
Local NHS supporter and avid runner Ashok Kumar is taking to the streets of Croydon to raise funds for Croydon Health Services NHS Charity this weekend (Sunday 1 November).
Trustee of Croydon Voluntary Action and Vice-Chair of the borough’s BME forum, Ashok will be taking on a 10km run around Croydon University Hospital to support the charity to provide additional support for NHS staff and patients.

Dr Nnenna Osuji, Medical Director at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust has been selected as one of London’s most inspiring black leaders, as part of the NHS’ Black History Month celebrations. To mark Black History Month, the NHS in London revealed 36 prominent individuals to be ‘the faces’ of the NHS Trusts in the capital.
