Croydon’s NHS and social care teams are to benefit from almost a million pounds worth of investment as one of six national pilots to free-up hospital beds by providing people with care in the community, following a Government announcement (11 January 2023).
Transport strikes are expected to affect travel in Croydon and surrounding areas from 3 January 2023.

A number of trade unions have announced national strikes in the run-up to Christmas in the ongoing pay dispute with the government. We recognise the rights of staff to strike, however the majority of union members did not vote for industrial action at our Trust in Croydon.
